Nursing Home Care
I arrived at the facility about 1:00 pm and signed Anna out to be with me, I noticed black and blue marks on both arms in the muscle area. My mind immediately began to question the nursing home care she was receiving and I needed to get to the bottom of this. 
I felt my body tense up as I confronted the R.N. on duty and showed her the marks asking how they came about. She responded that she may be taking blood thinner. I replied that I have been with her for sixty five years and she only had black and blue marks if she fell or bumped into furniture or and object that would produce a bruise. I could help but feel that she is not being handled properly when an aid is attempting to place her in a wheel chair, bed or toilet seat. It is unacceptable and I want the nurse to document this for me and do some research as to how it happened. She said she would and I went on my way with Anna, down to the first level where we sit and hold hands and maybe watch T.V. Anna asked to use the bathroom, which is nearby on the same floor, I proceeded to bring her to the bathroom and as we were exiting I was approached by the head nurse. She spoke to me about the black and blue and that she was going to make a thorough examination of the situation and keep me appraised.
